Overview

Cisco Sales Console is an analytic dashboard for sales team so that the team can see important decision making arteacts.

Background

CLaiR was an existing multiple persona based AI-based tool introduced a year back and it was used by sales team to see important artifacts related to sales.

 

Cisco came to us with a problem statement:

Despite being such an advanced robust analytic based tool, we are seeing continued decline in the usage by key sales team users like Account Manager and we are concerned we might need to shut down this project.

The Process

Persona

The key persona we identified is Cory Alex who is an account manager and details associated with him are below:

Ideation

We analyzed the complete working of their existing dashboard, pain points mentioned by the persona and presented with:

  • New brand e.g., Cisco Sales Console instead of CLaiR
  • Complete overhauled work flow

A/B Testing phase

The idea we presented was liked by the Stake holders & the business team but divided the idea into multiple deliverables and showed interest to add only actionability during MVP release.

Option A (The Legacy)

We did empathy mapping and found this design to be:

  • Easier as it keeps the existing interface in mind
  • Spot on with a lot of the important features for projection
  • Introduction of new features like Support Cases & Notifications is a plus plus
  • Made life easier with Calculated results
